Magico adds A1 standmount
California-based high-end loudspeaker manufacturer Magico has announced a new standmount to join its expanding A-Series later this year. As part of the company’s most affordable range, the A1 standmount speaker (pictured) will set you back £8,888 and joins the A3 floorstander launched last year – priced at £11,998.
Like the A3 it uses a 28mm beryllium dome tweeter partnered to a newly developed 165mm mid/bass carbon nanographene cone driver. Housed inside an aircraft-grade aluminium enclosures, the A1 claims 85dB sensitivity into 4ohm and uses the company’s elliptical symmetry crossover network.
