July 2025 issue of Hi-Fi Choice now on sale
One of the most enjoyable things about working on HFC is perusing all the Considering all of the current uncertainty around imports, exports and tariffs, you’d be well within your rights to assume that the hi-fi industry might be a bit skittish right now. But thankfully – and somewhat amazingly – if the recent High End show in Munich is anything to go by, completely the opposite is true. In the five-or-so years I’ve been editing HFC, I can’t recall such a deluge of new product releases and upgrades as there’s been over the past four weeks.
Not only have we details of new kit from the usual movers and shakers, we’ve also been introduced to a bunch of fresh providers from parts of the globe that, traditionally, we’ve not heard a lot from. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of another copy of HFC that was able to welcome imports from Poland and Serbia in the same issue, plus the more familiar firms that don’t have anything up their sleeves at the moment are announcing a raft of new colourways.
This issue’s Audio File section runs to 27 pages – a new record – and I’m not exaggerating when I say we could have filled twice as many pages again. Which is a not-so-subtle prompt for our next issue, which covers all the gear that didn’t make it into this one… and more! Exciting times! Lots to enjoy and much to look forward to.
