Pro-Ject unveils Debut PRO S
Pro-Ject has introduced its Debut PRO S, a new turntable that benefits from many of the advancements made with the company’s Debut PRO (HFC 487), plus adding features to suit turntable-based audio systems where the ability to switch between cartridges is required. Based around a new 10in S-shaped aluminium tonearm with adjustable VTA and an SME-style headshell connector, this latest Debut model features a new pre-adjusted Pick-IT S2 C cartridge in black finish, a bigger Debut chassis to accommodate the larger tonearm, precision aluminium platter with TPE damping, a diamond-cut aluminium sub-platter and a TPE motor suspension system.
It’s a precision belt-drive system with height-adjustable metal feet, discrete electronic speed change rocker switch (support for 33, 45 and 78rpm playback) and eight-layer hand-painted MDF chassis in Satin Black finish. The Debut PRO S measures 462 x 145 x 345mm (WxHxD), weighs 7kg and comes bundled with a premium semi-symmetrical Connect-IT E phono cable, gold-plated RCA output connectors and dust cover.
Available to buy now for £800, you can find out more about the Debut PRO S here .
