Naim launches New Classic range

In celebration of its 50th anniversary Naim has launched its New Classic range featuring the NSC 222 streaming preamplifier; an all-new iteration of the NAP 250 power amplifier and the NPX 300 power supply upgrade.

The NSC 222 allows streaming from Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music and more, with support for bit-rates up to 32-bit/284kHz. For vinyl lovers it boasts an integrated MM phono stage and also features Naim’s latest headphone technology as featured in the company’s Uniti Atom Headphone Edition (HFC 479). It has a 5.5in full-colour display and is controlled by the Focal & Naim App or the Zigbee remote control handset.

The NAP 250 power amplifier has been in continuous production since 1975 and this, the sixth generation model, features trickle-down technology from Naim’s flagship Statement amplifier, so, according to the company, it: “delivers more power, even better performance and greater system-matching flexibility.” The new NAP 250 is a 100W-per-channel dual-model design, with full power regulation. It has true balanced XLR connections and an eddy-current circuit breaker between the speaker outputs.

Finally, the NPX 300 power supply is an instant upgrade for the NSC 222 streaming preamplifier, disabling the internal power supply and reducing the noise floor further in the process.

Naim has additionally created a range of cable options that allow easy integration of the new models with earlier Naim products to ease the upgrade path.

The New Classic range from Naim is available to buy now and you can find out more about it here .
