Grado unveils GT220 in-ears
The GT220 is Grado’s first true wireless earbud, with single 8mm drivers tuned for its miniature polycarbonate housings. It comes with a choice of silicon eartips and a ‘twist-to-lock’ movement designed to ensure a secure fit. Each earbud weighs just 5g and claims a six-hour battery life from a single charge, while the wireless Qi charging case provides five complete charges for a total of 36 hours of continuous power.
A USB-C cable is included, and the GT220 supports wireless charging with Qi-compatible mats for even greater convenience. The GT220 has touch-sensitive controls for play, pause and skip, volume, making phone calls and to activate voice assistants. Compatible with Siri and Google Assistant, there’s also a built-in mic for phone calls and voice commands. With the latest Bluetooth 5.0 plus aptX and AAC codecs, the GT220 claims 20Hz-20kHz frequency response and 32ohm nominal impedance.
The GT220 is available to buy now for £250 and you can find out more about it here.
