FiiO introduces FW3 true-wireless earbuds

FiiO has launched its FW3 true-wireless earbuds. Featuring an AK4332 DAC and Qualcomm’s latest QCC5141 Bluetooth chipset, the FW3 delivers Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity with a wide range of codecs, including: LDAC, LHDC, aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC and SBC. FiiO has also equipped the FW3 with a 10-band PEQ function allowing users to tune the output.

The FW3 earbuds are Snapdragon Sound certified, which means: “whether listening to music, gaming or making voice and video calls... guarantees an excellent level of HD audio quality.”

The FiiO Music app is available for iOS and Android and includes left/right channel balance adjustment and low pass filter mode selection allowing the user to personalise their listening by choosing from one of four low pass filter modes: Steep Drop, Slow Drop, Short Delay Steep Drop and Short Delay Slow Drop. There are four physical buttons – two on each earbud – which allow for tactile control of Play/Pause/Select Next Track/Select Previous Track and volume control.

The FiiO FW3 claims a battery life of up to 21 hours: the earbuds offer seven from a full charge, with an additional 14 hours from the case. The buds come with three sets of silicon eartips (S/M/L), three sets of balanced eartips (S/M/L) and a USB charging cable.
