HFC January 2026 now on sale

Sometimes what you’re looking for is right there under your nose staring you in the face. Searching for a theme to sum up this issue – dated Jan 2026, but worked on in late ’25 – it occurred to me that it’s shouting loud and clear on the masthead: Hi-Fi CHOICE.
What we’ve been dedicated to doing over the past 12 months, and are determined to continue long into the future, is to present the widest range of affordable choices to enhance your listening pleasure. Whether you’re dedicated to a tried-and-trusted brand or looking for a completely new aural experience, our goal is to discover and test all the incremental technical and stylistic enhancements to the kit you hold dear plus all the fresh arrivals which may set you off on quite a different hi-fi journey.
To these ends, in this issue there’s all the lowdown on the excellent updates to our cover star, Bryston’s Bi-200 integrated amp, plus, in Reasons To Be Cheerful, news on additional colourways joining the market to enhance the look of your listening space.
I should also mention, watch out for our next issue – on sale just before Christmas. It’s our Yearbook in which we round up the most lauded gear we’ve covered over the past year – your comprehensive, all-in-one guide for future auditions and purchases.
Lots to look forward to...
