HiFi Rose introduces RD160 DAC and preamplifier
Henley Audio has announced the UK availability of the HiFi Rose RD160 DAC and preamplifier. Spearheading a new product category for the South Korean company, the RD160 features the ROSE DPC (Digital Processing Core) module designed to ensure signal accuracy and precision regardless of the source due to using an OCXO clock. Also on board is ROSE CIM (Completely Isolated Module) Architecture, which employs a two-chip solution for noise reduction, a fully balanced, dual-mono DAC design with complete mechanical separation between channels and a ROSE NRA (Noise Reduction Analogue) Filter to try to achieve a flat frequency response, even in the very low-frequency range, for a true-to-the-original sound performance.
Three customised reference-level linear power supplies drive the two channels and the main digital processing board independently for reduced interference and crosstalk, and it’s housed in a solid aluminium chassis with intuitive user interface and IR remote control included.
The RD160 measures 430 x 88 x 330mm (WxHxD), weighs 10kg and comes in a choice of black or silver finishes.
Available to buy now for £4,700, you can find out more about the HiFi Rose RD160 here.
