Ohidian unleashes Incanto loudspeaker

Ophidian has updated its mid-size three-way floorstanding speaker. It says the Incanto is, “the spiritual successor” to its P3 Evolution and uses many elements of the former in combination with technology from its flagship Voodoo (HFC 490) loudspeaker.

The company continues: “Triple 175mm bass drivers coupled to a unique Aeroflex bass-loading technology will allow Incanto to reproduce huge scale and dynamics from a relatively compact cabinet.”

Boasting a 50mm soft dome midrange driver in a sealed unit, the highest frequencies are handled by the same 22mm dome tweeter as featured in the Voodoo and it uses the crossover components from Mundorf including air-cored coils and metal oxide resistors. Incanto is made in the UK, has a claimed sensitivity of 89dB, features detachable magnetic protective grilles, measures 210 x 1,032 x 300mm (WxHxD), weighs 24kg and is available in oak or walnut real wood veneer finishes with custom optional finishes available by customer request.

Available to buy now for £6,000 a pair, you can find out more about the Incanto here .
