Pro-Ject released the £2,100 6PerspeX Balanced early in 2024 – taking the previous 6PerspeX SB (HFC 505) design and adding a new balanced output option in line with the company’s True Balanced Connection concept. Now the 6PerspeX Balanced UK SuperPack expands the overall package to include nearly £1,000’s worth of upgrades.

The UK SuperPack edition changes the standard 9CC EVO tonearm for a 9CC EVO High Gloss version with ABEC 7 ballrace tonearm bearings. The turntable comes with Pro-Ject’s premium Pick it MC3 moving-coil cartridge pre-installed and features an acoustically inert, vinyl-topped sandwich MDF platter finished with a threaded spindle to accommodate the supplied record clamp. Additional features include an inverted main bearing with ceramic ball/plate, magnetically isolated Corian sub-chassis, isolated AC motor, powered by DC/AC generator for clean power supply and a precision belt-drive system with electronic speed switch for 33 and 45rpm.

The main chassis is constructed of thick acrylic and the turntable comes bundled with a premium semi-symmetrical Connect it E phono cable and dust cover. Connections include gold-plated RCA output ports and a new MiniXLR balanced out. The 6PerspeX Balanced UK SuperPack measures 460 x 183 x 365mm (WxHxD) and weighs 11kg.
