Bassocontinuo introduces Classic Line 2.1 stands

Bassocontinuo, the specialist Italian support manufacturer, has launched a new range of entry-level stands, the Classic Line 2.1. Replacing the previous Classic Line 2.0, the new line is entirely hand built in Italy and offers full modularity so that owners can construct a bespoke equipment support specific to their needs, allowing additional shelves to be added in the future to accommodate growing systems.

The five-strong Classic Line 2.1 comprises both hi-fi and AV racks, plus turntable wall shelves and power amp platforms, in a range of leg heights from 90 to 290mm. Each comes with a five-year guarantee.

The Classic Line 2.1 also offers additional shelf height adjustment, utilising removable leg cylinders. Five and 10cm cylinders are available separately to adjust shelf height to suit individual requirements.

The company explains a key feature is the new ‘zero-shaking’ clamp system, which adds extra stability and a new cosmetic tie-rod cover made by Delrin plus a spike design with a stabilising washer for fine-tuning.

In addition to Bassocontinuo’s usual Cerbero Black and Iside White finishes, the company has added Walnut and Wenge to complement Sonus faber loudspeakers. The Classic 2.1 line legs are available in a choice of three finishes: Dark Grey, Milky White and Silver. The shelves are 25mm thick with a load capacity from 60kg.

Bassocontinuo's Classic Line 2.1 is available to buy now for £440 per tier and you can find out more about it here.
